Our Approach
We partner with missionaries and ministries throughout the globe that are committed to:
1) The Gospel of Jesus Christ being the only hope for the nations.
2) The local church being central to god's plan for the spread of the Gospel to the nations.
3) Seeing the Gospel spread beyond their immediae sphere of ministry though evangelism and discipleship OR establishing a new Gospel presence through church planting.
Our Involvement
Where possible, we seek to be actively involved with missionaries and ministries through:
1. Financial Support:
Through the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention, FBC supports various SBC ministries as well as over 5,000 missionaries who serve with the International Mission Board.
2. Regular Trips:
We seek to mobilize members for annual trips to encourage our missionaries and partner with them on the field in their ministry.
It is our strong conviction that we also must be a going church. We want to be hands-on involved in taking the gospel to the nations. Since 2016 FBC has sent teams to Bosnia to lead Practically Speaking English Courses for adutls and children's camps at the Baptist Church in Sarajevo.
